KATHMANDU: Third Jhamsikhel Street Festival will be held on Sept 10 in Kathmandu Valley.
Jhamsikhel Youth Club and The British School, Kathmandu will be organizing the street festival this year.
Chairman of the Jhamsikhel Youth Club Sandan Thapa Magar announced that the British School Kathmandu also will be co-organizing the festival this year.
“The festival will help promote domestic as well as international tourism. The festival will start from 8 AM and will be held till 8 PM” Thapa Informed.
One day street festival will have many attractions with stalls of food delicacies, handicraft, children’s park, archery contest, folk contest, folk dance, Cultural and Musical Instruments of Newar followed by live rock music concert featuring renowned artists.
“We have a special three F to possess the concept of the festival the first F- Food, the second F- Family and the third is Fun.” Thapa said.
The streets of Jhamsikhel along with the premises of The British School will showcase food and recreational stalls. The club also will honor veteran marathoner Baikuntha Manadhar on the day.
