KATHMANDU: The Seventh ‘Made in Pakistan’ expo kicked started in capital Kathmandu from Thursday.
Secretary of Ministry of Commerce and Trade, Nagendra Prasad Upadhaya inaugurated the exhibition which is being commenced in United World Trade Center, Tripureshwor. During the inauguration ceremony Secretary Upadhaya hailed it as a chance to improve the bilateral trade and introduce products ofPakistan in Nepali market.
Former Governor and Chairman of Nepal-Pakistan Friendship and Cultural Association, Himalaya Shumsher Rana, claimed that the exhibition would help strengthen the relationship and trade of both the country.
Mazhar zabed, Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal remarked he expo for its’ slogan with ‘Rebuilding Nepal’ to give company to strength the earthquake victims. He further added that the Pakistani products are suitable for Nepali market.
The exhibition is organized by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) in collaboration other organizations. Altogether 57 stalls displaying products like leather jackets, utensils, cosmetic, kurta suruwal are participating in the expo. The exhibition end on 28th September.
