KATHMANDU, Oct 17: Nepal’s private airlines Bhagwan Buddhako’s owner Bhawan Bhatta has been elected the next president of Non-Resident Nepali Association, the final results released early Tuesday shows.
The Jamboree of the NRNA held in Nepal capital Kathmandu elected the president defeating Jamuna Ghale Gurung with a large margin. Bhatta secured 11 Hundred and 97 votes while Gurung got 5 Hundred and 84 votes in her favor.
A total of 1 Thousand 7 Hundred and 88 voters out of 1 Thousand 8 Hundred and 54 have casted their vote on Monday.
Apart from the President other 20 members for the new committee also are elected.
