KATHMANDU, Oct. 13: Nepal’s Private airways Bhagwan Buddha (BB) Airways had paid advance for the Boeing of Nepal Airlines which it had kept for auction some months ago.
BB Airways bought Boeing named Karnali from Nepal Airlines Corporation through tender after NAC announced the Boeing to be ideal for commercial flights.
Earlier, no one was interested even when the tender was announced internationally. Bhattako Airways had proposed to buy the aircraft at 150 million rupees in previous tender.
The BB Airways has already paid 10.55 million rupees to the Corporation acquire the carrier.
