KATHMANDU : The worshippers have concluded the Chhath – a grand festival of good will and faith – by making offerings to the rising sun this morning.
The four-day festival starts from Kartik Shukala Chaturthi by worshipping setting Sun and concludes on Kartik Shukla Saptami as per the lunar calendar by making offerings to rising Sun.
The revelers had made offerings to the Sun with the grains produced in their fields and home-made delicious foods on the banks of different ponds including Kamalpokhari, Gaurighat Bagmati River, Thapathali Rajghat, Gahanapokhari.
