KATHMANDU: The third National Fish Festival is taking place here from coming Thursday.
Nepal Fisheries’ Entrepreneurs Association, the organiser of the festival, shared information about this at a press meet here today. Different verities of live fish and fish items will be available in the festival.
The festival is to be held at local Bhrikutimandap with the theme of “let’s eat domestic fish, stay healthy.” The festival will showcase 40 stalls featuring agro tools and fish food among others.
Association Chairman Ambika Prasad Adhikari said the entry fee for a person visiting the festival is Rs 100 while those wishing to taste fish items are charged Rs 200 each.
The festival will be inaugurated by Minister for Agricultural Development Gaurishankar Chaudhary. It will run until November 28.
