KATHMANDU, Oct 28 : The democratic and leftist alliance is set to compete in the election for new working committee of Trekking Agencies Association Nepal (TAAN).
The election for the new working committee is called for 29th of October and the registration of the candidacy to stand in the fray has expired Thursday evening.
A total of three candidates have filed nominations for the post of president, the TAAN informed.
Nawaraj Dhakal has filed his nomination for president from leftist alliance whereas Mohan Lamsal has filed his candidacy for the post of president from democratic alliance. Nurujangbu Sherpa also is standing in the fray as independent candidate for the post.
Along with the election preparedness attempt to make a new working committee anonymously is still on table but the talks over it are still to yield some result, General Secretary Karna Lama informed.
“We are in attempt to keep TAAN away from the political delusion and want to make an anonymous committee,” Lama said.
