KATHMANDU, May 6 : Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter has invited Dr. Bert Van Walbeek, a well-known expert in the Asian MICE industry.
Kathmandu in conjunction to the Capacity Building in MICE tourism Campaign, initiated with an objective to enlighten, enhance and upgrade the knowledge and skills of the students to be involved in the various events and activities of forthcoming Himalayan Travel Mart 2017, being held from 1 June to 4 June.
The two-day training on MICE tourism has been started saturday at Mid Valley International College.
About 70 participants including students, hoteliers, airlines and NTB staffs took part in the training.
The supported of Nepal Airlines, Hotel Maya Manor and Mid Valley International College.
During the inauguration of the program, the chairperson of PATA Nepal Chapter, Mr. Suman Pandey extended his gratitude and thanks to Dr. Bert Van Walbeek for facilitating his valuable time and lectures in Kathmandu and also thanked to all supporting hands in the preparation and in building Human Capital for the upcoming Himalayan Travel Mart.
PATA Nepal Chapter informed that the training will conclude the various dynamics of MICE Tourism including-Delivering MICE, Basics of MICE, MICE and the destination.
