KATHMANDU : The foundation stone has been laid for the construction of the building for National Panchakarma and Yoga Centre in Budhanilkantha Friday. The building will be spread in around 13 ropanis of land. Yoga related different five activities will be conducted at the centre.
Minister for Health Gagan Thapa while inaugurating the building said that the Ayurved and alternate treatment systems should be developed from rural to urban areas. He further committed to support to develop such centres.
Similarly, Budhanilkantha Municipality mayor Uddhav Kharel stressed on developing the infrastructure in the area for holistic development of the Municipality.
Chief at the Ayurved Department, Ministry of Health, Vasudev Upadhyaya shared that the Centre will be constructed at a total cost about Rs 10 million.
He further added that the department is planning to construct such centres in other provinces as well.
