Gandaki State CM Gurung assures to develop trekking routes

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: Chief Minister of Gandaki province, Prithivi Subba Gurung said that tourists are one of the major aspects of development of the state.

In the inauguration program of 15th convention and 25th Assembly of Mountaineering trekking tourist businessman union,Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) Pokhara, he mentioned that Karnali state joins Korla – Triveni so this place carries huge potential for the tourism sector.

Chief Minister Gurung said that the state will be helping to develop the trekking routes of this region.  President of western regional Association of TAAN said that TAAN has played great role in the development of tourism and he urged the government to play attention towards the development of the trekking routes.
