Kathmandu, Apr 16: The Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) is taking part in the Nepal China Sales Mission 2018 starting today on April 16.
The three-day expo will be disseminating information about the various tourism destinations worldwide, in which NATTA will be conducting B2B meetings with various tour operators and travel agents to discuss about Nepal’s tourism attractions, said NATTA President C.N. Pandey.
The event will also have participation of Nepal Tourism Board and 10 Nepali travel and tour companies which will be hosting their own stalls, drawing attention among the Chinese tourists and participants to Nepal’s art, culture, and the Nepali lifestyle, said NATTA Press Coordinator Sudarshan Nepal.
NATTA President C.N. Pandey said that he will be raising awareness about Mt. Everest and Lumbini specially, and urge for opening the border between Nepal and China. He added that if Nepal can attract high number of tourists from neighbouring countries India and China, it can easily fulfill the aim of attracting 1.5 million tourists by 2020. NATTA has been participating in the Chinese tourism mart since 2005.
