Nepal to bring International Marketing Policy targeting tourism

KATHMANDU, Nov.7: The Government of Nepal is set to bring in the International Marketing Policy in order to promote the tourism sector of the country.

“The Government has intended to do so in order to bring more tourists into the country promoting the Nepali Tourism ‘Products’ in the international market,” CEO of Nepal Tourism Board Deepak Raj Joshi said.

Joshi also said that Nepal will be focusing on other countries apart from the India and the China which lies close to the Nepal. “In the new policy Nepal has targeted the potential countries like USA and the European Countries and also claimed that USA has been the second market for India and if Nepal could take the benefit from there then the huge resource of Nepali tourism sector can be used,” Joshi said.
