Nepal and Switzerland sign air service agreement

Kathmandu, Feb 07:Nepal and Switzerland signed an Air Service Agreement (ASA).

Budhisagar Lamichhane, joint secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation and head of the Aviation Industry Management Division, said that the air service agreement between Nepal and Switzerland had been signed.

According to him, a bilateral air service agreement has been signed so that the airlines of both countries can operate 28 flights a week.

 50 percent of the flights should be flown from Tribhuvan International Airport and 50 percent of the flights should be flown from the international airport outside Kathmandu.Also, an agreement has been reached to fly through codeshare.

According to the ministry, Nepal has signed air agreements with 42 countries and it is in the process of signing air agreements with more countries.
