Nepal SBI Bank planted trees on premises of Pashupati Temple
KATHMANDU:Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (NSBL) has planted a tree in the Kailash Danda, Pashupati Temple Premises in Kathmandu. The NSBL organized the "Tree Plantation Program" as a social responsibility initiative. Mr Alok Kumar Choudhary, Managing Director (Risk, Compliance, and SARG) of State Bank of India, initiated the tree planting program.
On February 17, 2024, Choudhary visited Nepal for four days.
Mr. Yadvender Kant, Chief Operating Officer of NSBL, Mr. Chhapi Raj Pant, Advisor, NSBL, Mr. Ritesh Aryal, Chief Business Development Officer of NSBL, and other bank executives attended the program. NSBL has routinely conducted such CSR activities on the premises of the Pashupati Temple.
The bank provides banking services through 97 branches, 22 extension counters, 7 province offices, 1 Corporate Office, and 121 ATMs.
