Citizens Bank honored employees

KATHMANDU:Citizens Bank International has awarded long service medals to employees who have served for ten and fifteen years, respectively.

Citizens Bank International Limited, which began banking services 17 years ago on the 7th of Baisakh, 2064, with 43 workers, has honored employees who have served the bank for ten and fifteen years, respectively.

The bank has traditionally observed the first of Chaitra as Employee Day. The bank has prepared a month-long annual celebration to commemorate the completion of its 17th year and the start of its 18th year.

In a ceremony held at the bank's central office, Narayanhiti Path, the bank's CEO, Ganesh Raj Pokharel, awarded 60 employees, including 45 employees who had served for ten years and 15 employees who had served for fifteen years, with 10-gram and 15-gram gold medals and certificates, respectively.

There are now about 1780 staff working in the bank. Chief Executive Officer Pokharel stated that the staff' hard work, dedication, devotion, and responsibility contributed significantly to the bank's current position, and he urged them to contribute 100% in the future. Baisakh 7 is the bank's annual festival.

The bank operates 190 branches and 153 ATMs. And has provided modern banking services to 17 lakh 31 thousand people via 98 branchless banking units.
