Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management celebrates 18th Graduation Ceremony

KATHMANDU, June 12:The Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management had its 18th graduation ceremony on June 7. Chairman and Founding Principal Samir Thapa said that 143 students graduated from the Bachelor of Arts in International Hospitality and Tourism Management (BA-IHTM) faculty during the ceremony.

The ceremony's principal guest, British Ambassador to Nepal Rob Fenn, lauded the college's success and inspired Nepal's students to pursue great education. Similarly, Paul Edward Grice, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Queen Margaret College, underlined the value of foreign education in promoting quality education in Nepal, as well as the need for a strong partnership between Queen Margaret University and Silver Mountain.

The ceremony also included an award ceremony to recognize outstanding students, staff, and faculty members for their great performances and achievements. Faiza Banu received the Deans Award-2024 and Outstanding Student of the Year-2024, Rachita Agrawal received the Academic Excellence Award-2024, Sujan Maharjan received the Excellence in Teaching-2024 award, and Sanju Gartaula was named Best Employee-2024.
