LONDON, Nov.9: The number of Britons visiting Nepal has increased drastically in the period of two years.
The number which dived down to 29 Thousand after the 2015’s earthquake now has hiked to 46 Thousand 2 Hundred and 95 last year. Now the Nepal Embassy in London expects this number to surpass the expectation of 60 Thousands.
The Nepal Embassy here in London also has organized a Tourism promotion program on Tuesday. Nepal’s Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ministries Secretary Maheshwor Neupane appealed the British nationals to come visit Nepal claiming it to be much safer destination.
“The oldest diplomatic relation between Nepal and Britain will deepen more. Britain also has been playing pivotal role in stabilizing and sustaining the tourism sector of Nepal. Keeping the fact in mind we are now constructing three new International Airports in Nijgadh, Bhairahawa and Pokhara,” Neupane said.
