KATHMANDU, April 18: Kathmandu, April 18: Pacific Asia Travels Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter has launched a month long training programme for students for mobilization during the Himalayan Travel Mart 2017 and International Travel Bloggers and Media Conference.
The event is taking place from June 1 to 4. The training programme entitled ‘Capacity Building in MICE Tourism’ is being participated by around 60 students from PATA Nepal Chapter (PNC) member colleges.
PNC is organizing the training programme for the students with National and International Resource Persons to enlighten, enhance and upgrade the knowledge and skills regarding the event management.
The students will be trained under ‘Personality Development and Event Management’ until May 12.
Inaugurating the training, PATA Nepal Chairman, Suman Pandey, emphasized the importance of such training programmes in capacity building of the students and their role for Himalayan Travel Mart 2017.
PATA Nepal Chapter Executive Manager, Suresh Singh Budal, said the PNC is bringing Dr Bert Van Walbeek – a renowned expertise in the Asian MICE Industry from Thailand – to conduct Two Days Capacity Building Training.
