Kathmandu : The Thai-Nepal Friendship Dashain Festival is taking place from September 30 to October 4 with construction materials, readymade garments, plastic products, ceramics, leather items and food and beverages to be put for sale.
The festival will have 40 stalls from Thailand and 30 from Nepal with participation of more than 100 business enterprises, it was said at a press conference held on Tuesday.
Thai Ambassador to Nepal, Vutti Vuttisant, shared his belief that the festival would help development friendly relations between Nepal and Thailand.
Nepal -Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sabin Shrestha, said the festival was not being held to enlist Nepal in the list of countries where cheap commodities are dumped rather aimed at channeling the high quality of Thai products to Nepali consumers. RSS
