10 people received permission to climb Everest in Autumn season

KATHMANDU, Oct 03: In the autumn of this year, 10 people from two groups have taken permission to climb Everest. This is the first time in the past three years that permission for climbing Everest has been granted in this season.
Rameshwar Niraula, an official at the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation said that no one has taken permission to climb Everest during this season. Three years later, there were nine people in the one group and the another 1 person to ask for permission.
According to Niraula, 264 people from 26 groups have obtained permission to climb Manaslu mountain climb till Monday. It is the eighth highest mountain in the world and the seventh tallest mountain in Nepal. Its height is 8 thousand 156 meters. So far, there are 68 groups of 518 climbers seeking permission to climb various mountains in the country.
