11 people stuck at Manaslu trekking route

KATHMANDU, March 26: 11 people have been stuck on the Manaslu trekking route after the announcement of lockdown. According to Simbir Ghale, Media Coordinator of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), six foreign travelers and five Nepalese along with guides were stuck up in Manaslu.
All the tourists who reached to Mancha Khola of Manaslu were unable to return due to the lockdown. He said that the authorities are coordinating from the local level to rescue them. Meanwhile, more than 300 tourists are also missing in Everest Region.
There have been reports of trekkers being helpless due to a sudden announcement lockdown.
