1.5 million assistance from JGI Foundation for mountain clean

KATHMANDU, June 13: JGI Nepal Foundation has provided 1.5 million rupees to the Nepal Army's Mountain Cleaning Campaign.

The Foundation has provided support to carry out its work under corporate social responsibility.

The Nepal Army has successfully conducted two mountain cleaning campaigns (2019 and 2021) in collaboration with other government agencies and the private sector.

Similarly, the Mountain Sanitation Campaign aims to collect and reuse 35 tons of mountain waste from the four Himalayas of Nepal (from Everest, Lhotse, Kanchenjunga and Manaslu) in 2022.

This mountain cleaning campaign 2022 was successfully completed on the day of World Environment Day. JGI Nepal Foundation is an organization established by Vijay Kumar Shah and Jawalakhel Group of Industries to work under corporate social responsibility.

The organization will help in the areas of education, health, sports, social assistance, gender equality and the environment.
