165 Indians stranded in Nepal gets rescued

KATHMANDU, May 20: Indian citizens stranded in Nepal were rescued today Air India flight. Due to the ongoing lockdown, there is ban on commercial flights in Nepal due to which Indian citizens were stuck in the country.


An air India flight rescues 165 passengers back to their country. According to TIA officials, flight carrying 165 passengers, took off on Wednesday morning. Most of the Indian workers in Nepal have returned to India by road.

Employees of embassies and various missions, traders and other people stranded in Nepal have been taken back by India. About 5,000 people have returned home from Nepal since the lockdown began.
