177 flights of Himalaya Airlines brings home 33 and a half thousand Nepalese during covid pandemic

KATHMANDU, Aug 03: During the covid pandemic, Himalaya Airlines has made a great contribution towards corporate social responsibility.

Himalaya has released its CSR report in 2020 and 2021, stating that it has contributed greatly to the Covid pandemic.

During the covid pandemic, Himalaya collected 1 crore in the covid fund. Apart from that, essential health supplies were provided to Amda Hospital, CCMC Gulmi, Shahid Gangalal Hospital, Prayas Nepal, Manmohan Memorial Hospital.

When international flights were stopped, 33 thousand 627 Nepalese were brought home through 177 flights.

During the covid pandemic, 4 cargo flights were made free of charge to bring 2 lakh doses of vaccine.

It flew to Kabul for free with 10 tons of material collected from the Nepali people for humanitarian aid in Afghanistan.
