21,000 tourists visit Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve in last EU

KATHMANDU, Aug 20: More than 21,000 tourists have visited the popular Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve in one year. 21,799 tourists have been recorded to visit the wildlife reserve in the last economic year 2074/75, of which 21,363 were Nepali, 54 from SAARC countries, and 382 were from other foreign countries.
Rs. 2,354,310 was collected in revenue in the last economic year. The Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is well-known for its water buffaloes, wetlands, and various kinds of birds.
