23rd AGM of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank Limited concluded

KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The 23rd Annual General Meeting of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank Limited was held on January 22, 2010 at the Central Office of the Bank, Bagbazar, Kathmandu. The meeting unanimously passed all the proposals including the proposal to distribute 10.2695 per cent bonus shares and 0.5405 per cent cash dividend for tax purposes while issuing the bonus shares.
From this general meeting, three (3) members from the founder group "A" and three (3) members including one (1) woman from the public group "B" have been elected unopposed. Also, Mr. Upendra Keshari Neupane has been unanimously elected as the chairperson from the meeting of the directors held after the general meeting. Mr. Mohan Bahadur Basnet and Mr. Iman Singh Lama have been elected as directors from group "A" while Mr. Chandra Prasad Bastola, Mr. Suman Kumari Joshi and Mr. Nishesh Pradhan have been elected from group "B".
In addition, after the 10.2695 percent bonus share passed by the meeting, the paid up capital of this bank will reach Rs. 10.31 billion 45.16 million 680.
At present, the bank operates 127 branches and 102 ATMs in all the seven states and is providing quality services to its customers.
The Bank has disbursed Rs. 79.61 billion for deposit mobilization and Rs. 67.81 billion and net profit of Rs. 1 billion 108.4 million.
