30 million rupee resort starts operation in Bhedetar

BHEDETAR, Feb 26: A new resort has started operation in the popular tourist spot of Dhankuta, Bhedetar, by the name of Bhedetar Village Resort. The resort was built at an investment of Rs. 30 million.

The hotel was built at the joint investment of youth entrepreneurs Jitendra Rumdali Rai and Padmini Rai, who says that the hotel was built with the view to attract domestic as well as foreign tourists visiting Bhedetar. "People who stay at the resort will find a family environment," she said, "guess will have the opportunity to taste local dishes of Rai, Magar, and Limbu ethnicities like gundruk, dhindo and local chicken curry."

The resort has 26 deluxe and attached rooms. A seminar hall with the capacity to house 100 people is also currently being built.

Rai informed that Machhapuchre Bank has helped in financing the hotel. The hotel was built with 20 million rupees of personal investment and a 10 million loan from Machhapuchre Bank.

Namje Village, where the resort is situated, has been developing in recent years as a chief tourism destination of Nepal.
