3rd Bangladesh Expo kick off

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: The 3rd Bangladesh Expo – 2017 kicked off in the capital city on Tuesday showcasing products of entrepreneurs and renowned business houses from Bangladesh.
Minister for Supplies, Deepak Bohara, and Bangladeshi Ambassador to Nepal, Mashfee Binte Shams, jointly inaugurated the Expo to be held until January 21 at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall. The Expo will open for public from 10 am to 6 pm at the venue.
The Expo will exhibit building and construction materials, readymade garments, plastic products, cosmetics, ceramics/tiles, jute and jute products, leather products, textiles, footwear, electronic gadgets, handicrafts, generators/machineries, processed food, IT solutions, educational institutes, consumer products, batteries, cement, bathroom fittings, motorcycles, home appliances, jewelleries along with products of selected Nepali exporters. The Expo also plans to promote Nepali exports to Bangladesh.
It is expected that the Expo will create a platform for exchange of information and ideas and provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs of the two countries to explore B – 2 – B linkages for harnessing the available synergies in the areas of trade and business for mutual benefit, a statement from Embassy of Bangladesh reads.
