4-day Home Trail Inventory completed at Kaski

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: A 4-day Home Trail Inventory has been completed by Village Tourism Promotion Forum (VITOF) Nepal, from Tangting Home Stay at Tangting Ward No.2 to Yanjakot Home Stay of Yanjakot Ward No. 3 of Kaski district.

Ved Bahadur Gurung (Shyam), Chief of Madi Village Council said that by identifying every tourist area of the village, special planning should be done to develop them. Speaking on the first day of the visit, social worker Naresh Shankar Palikhe expressed the need for government's interest in the development of tourist villages while villagers themselves should assist in the tourism work.  Ekjung Gurung, Chairman of Madi Village council said there is the importance of home stay in the development of tourism in village ares so it should be promoted. Tourism entrepreneurs of Pokhara and Kathmandu should also help in promotional activities.
