80% construction work of Gautam Buddha Int'l Airport being completed

BHAIRAHAWA, Aug 23: 80% construction work of Gautam Buddha Int'l Airport (GBIA) has been completed. The Gautam Buddha International import is being constructed at Bhairahawa, Lumbini and the officials are planning to compete the construction work by the end of December.
Chief of the project, Prabesh Adhikari said that the construction work is being carried out efficiently. The work of lightening is being done under the supervision of Chinese Company, Northwest Civil Aviation. After collecting the necessary materials, the work of lightening will be completed within 1 month.
During the visit of Tourism Minister, Yogesh Bhattarai in the field, he had directed to complete the work as soon as possible. Similarly, the work of terminal House, Control Tower, runway and Taxi Bay has already been completed. The airport is being constructed with the investment more than 6 billion rupees.
