A MoU signed between Global IME Bank and Bhandara Milk Producers Cooperative

KATHMANDU, Jan 25: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Global IME Bank Limited and Bhandara Milk Producers Cooperative Society to increase the access of small farmers to agricultural subsidy loans.
The MoU has been signed by Bidur Gyawali, Deputy Chief of Bagmati Regional Office and Dilli Prasad Thapaliya, Chairman of Bhandara Milk Producers Cooperative.
As per the agreement, Global IME Bank will provide concessional loans to goat, dairy, vegetable farming, poultry, marmot, fish and various fruit growers in different parts of Chitwan including Bhandara on the recommendation of local cooperatives. .
Global IME Bank, which has a network of branches across the country and abroad, aims to provide access to banking services to all sectors and classes. The Bank has 264 branches, 240 ATMs, 244 branchless banking services, 47 extension and revenue collection counters and 3 branches in all 7 states and 73 districts. It is providing services to more than 2.2 million customers from around 800 service centers including the Foreign Representative Office.
