Adventure ski training in Annapurna base camp

KATHMANDU : The training and festival of adventure sport of skiing is to take place in the base camp of Annapurna mountain – the prime tourism destination located in the Annapurna trekking route.
The Ski and Snowing Foundation is organizing the 13-day 'Ski for Nepal' programme with free of cost training to increase additional tourism activities in the Annapurna Base Camp during the snow season.
Ski sporting skills, methods and art would be imparted to the trainees in the base camp for five days. The programme would kick off on February 10.
As many as 50 participants including domestic and foreigners would take part in the programme to be held in the site with an altitude of around 4,100 meters, shared Foundation Chairperson Utsav Pathak.
