Agreement between Global IME Bank and Nepal Clearing House for QR facility

KATHMANDU, May 09: Global IME Bank Limited and Nepal Clearing House Limited have entered into an agreement to formally operate Nepal Pay QR facility for the first phase of National Payment Switch.
Ratna Raj Bajracharya, Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Bank Limited and Nilesman Singh Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Clearing House Limited signed the agreement at a function held at the Bank's corporate office.
As per the agreement, Global IME Bank has successfully integrated the biller gateway under the first phase of National Payment Switch and has made various payments including government and semi-government bill payment, credit card bill payment, insurance fee payment, share transaction payment available in its mobile banking app Global Smart Plus.
In addition, the bank will soon provide NepalPay QR, NepalPay Instant, NepalPay Request and other services under National Payment Switch.
