Agreement between NAC and IME Pay

KATHMANDU, July 23: The digital financial services provider IME Pay, which has more than thirty thousand agent outlet network, has signed an agreement with the IME Pay and Nepal Airlines Corporation for purchasing air tickets.

Daniel D Shrestha, in behalf of IME Pay and Director of Nepal Airlines Sugat Ratna Kansakar signed the agreement letter on Sunday. According to the agreement, the consumers of the corporation will be able to purchase a ticket for a flight to different destinations operated by the Nepal Airlines Corporation.

According to the Nepal Bank’s Payment and Fiscal Regulations (2072), IME Digital has received the permission to provide mobile wallet service through Nepal Telecommunications Network.

IME Digital will provide mobile wallet services under the “IME Pay” brand and will help with different types of payment by using the help of the service provider or with the agents on mobile. This also includes the transfer of money, mobile charging, and paying a variety of rentals and office bills to the transfer of ordinary money from person-to-person to various online and venue stores.

The aim of IME digital banking is for contributing to the financial inclusion of Nepal through providing access to low banking services, including public access. The public can avail of the service within a few days.
