Agreement signed between NTB and TAAI for tourism promotion

KATHMANDU, Oct 24: The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) have agreed to work together for the promotion of tourism in both the countries.
In a program in New Delhi on October 22, an agreement was signed between the Executive Chief of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) Dr. Dhananjay Regmi and Jyoti Mayal, President of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI).
According to the agreement, various tourism promotion programs organized by the Board and TAAI will have mutual cooperation in events such as events, road shows, webinars, national and regional programs and travel marts to be organized in both the countries.
Dhananjay Regmi told that as India is Nepal's major tourism resource market, this agreement will help in the promotion of tourism in Nepal. He said that exchanging good practices of tourism promotion in each other's country would also help in the promotion of tourism in both the countries.
