Airline companies to refund cash to their passengers after the flights gets cancelled

KATHMANDU, March 24: The airline companies have provided option to the passengers regarding changing the flight date or to get back the money of the tickets that was bought after the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) announces to cancel all the flights.
The government has locked down entire country for a week from Tuesday after the cases of Corona virus was confirmed. CAAN also banned domestic flights as the government locked down. Earlier, the government had banned long distance vehicles. Spokesperson of Shree Airlines, Anil Manandhar said that the passengers who had cut tickets during this period of time can get their money back or can change their flight date.
Buddha Air's Dipendra Karna also said that the passengers are able to get their money back or change their dates. Yeti Airlines, Tara, Sita, Summit and Simrik have also provided similar facilities to the passengers.
