Aloft hotel to come under operation in 2018

KATHMANDU, July 6 : Alfot Business Hotel, under construction in Thamel, Kathmandu is set to operate from next year. The hotel is set to make debut in Nepal after a year of delay.
The construction of hotel was started with an aim to come operation this year but was hindered because of the Earthquake and the trade embargo by India on 2015.
The Chhaya Center, covering a land area of 15 ropani and a multi storied building will include this hotel which will bear the name “Alfot Brand” of Five Star Hotel, Starwood.
Starwood has over a dozen hotel chain around the globe. It currently is operating Alfot Business Hotel, Sheraton, W Hotel, Four Points, Le Meridian, Luxury Collection, Element, and St. Rejis hotels around the globe.
“All the works of structure has completed. We are working with the aim to bring the hotel under operation by 2018. The finishing of the Chhaya Center is underway with rapid effort,” Operator of the Hotel Suman Pandey said.
The shops in the Chhaya Center are set to come under operation from December this year.
Nepal Investment Banks Chairperson Privthivi Bahadur Pande, Suman Pandey, Maheshwor Pandey, Nirmal Pradhan, Kalu Gurung, Yogendra Shakya, Suhrid Ghimire has invested over the project. The Alford Hotel will cover the space from 5th to the 15th floor of the Complex which will have 2 Hundred and 20 rooms with investment of 5 billion rupees.
