Altitude sickness takes life of a trekking guide in Everest Region

KATHMANDU, Feb-8: Yet another trekking guide has died because of altitude sickness in Everest region of Nepal on Tuesday.
Samir Natshering Rai aged 20 of Stang-8, Solukhumbu succumbed to death while taking group to the Everest Region on trekking. He went to the Everest Base Camp and died on his way back on Tuesday, Eastern Region Police Office informed. He was taken to Namche-based hospital for treatment where he took his last breath.
