An Nepali adds 140 restaurants in Japan

KATHMANDU, May 6 : Bhawan Bhatta, Vice President of Non- Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and an entrepreneur has added 149 restaurants in Japan under the banner pf Total Business Institute (TBI) Group.
By adding the new chain TBI group's restaurants in Japan has doubled. TBI chairman Bhatta started his small business in service sectors in Japan, two decades ago, Bhatta – from Gurkha of Nepal – has made his restaurant business public limited.
This investment has been considered as the great achievement among foreign investors in Japan. Along with the new addition the numbers of restaurants of the TBI Holdings’ chain has reached 290.
“But some 20 restaurants will be closed as they have bad financial condition and the chain will run 270 restaurants,” Bhatta said from Japan.
Earlier, Bhatta was operating a chain of 150 restaurants.
Earlier TBI has been investing 22 billion yen for restaurant business, but now it will be investing around 30 billion yen for added numbers of restaurants under TBI Holdings.
TBI Holdings Group has restaurants, real state, import-export and food and beverage businesses. It has been providing around 304 Japanese and Nepalese employment,” he added.
