KATHMANDU, Feb 21: This Valentine’s Day the event ‘Share Love, Save Lives’ organized by ‘Blood Cancer Society Nepal’ and ‘Utpala Cafe’ achieved a great success.  The event was managed by ‘Aakar Events’ which saw the huge participation of above 350 guests attending the event.

The event was filled with lot of fun and entertainment from songs, poems, standup comedy, games, and gift hampers and so on.  Jibesh Singh Gurung made a special appearance and performed his top 3 songs which went viral in You Tube.  Likewise Nima Yangchen a latest young sensation popular for her cover songs in You Tube also had performed in the event.

All the participants voluntarily contributed by showing their talents in the stage to entertain the crowd and support the cause. All the volunteers who performed were extremely talented and are the young rising artists of Nepal starting up their career through different social media platforms. We are extremely thankful to Mr. Binod Khadka, program coordinator of the event for managing everything in clean way.

The event was supported by Radio Nagarik, IST College and PATA Nepal Student Chapter and Photography Nepal and Invincible Creations. Entertaining games with gift hampers from different gift sponsors UG Cakes, Lumiere Nepal, House of Fashion, Show Free and Dancing Yak made the event more fun. At the end of the programme, lucky draw was announced for the winner of Overnight stay package to Pokhara offered by Simsime Travel and Tours.

The event raised Rs. 30,000 fund which will be used for supporting treatment access of the Blood Cancer Patients in Nepal. The fund raised is below the target since the crowd were limited being Sunday and most of them were young couples and small groups willing to have fun. However, with everyone support, the event received very good appreciation for the work and lot of people now are aware about the project.

Various different type of event will be organized in coming future soon with new ideas to support this cause even further.
