Aviation Ministry renews BB Airways license

KATHMANDU, July 09: The license of BB Airways has been renewed. After the operation of flights from Kathmandu-Malaysia in 2012, the license of the airways was cancelled few years ago.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil aviation has decided to renew the license of the airline. According to Joint Secretary of the ministry, Suresh Acharya, the old license of the airways was renewed as the company presented its business policy. In the business policy, the company presented the plan of buying a new aircraft. In the basis of the policy presented by the airways, the Ministry agreed to renew the license.

The company had bought Boeing 753-200 from Nepal Airlines Corporation. The company has mentioned the plan to sell the aircraft and buy 4 narrow body ships in their policy. The company has planned to fly Dubai, Doha, Singapore, Malaysia, and India from the narrow body ships. Different airline company have showed interest to buy the Boeing.
