KATHMANDU: Hindu devotees thronged to Balaju Park to take the annual ritual shower at the Baise Dhara (22 stone taps) in the Capital on Saturday.
Also known as the Balaju Baise Dhara Mela, the festival is celebrated every year on the day of Chaitra Sukla Purnima.
Hundreds of devotees gathered to take a ritual bath and pay reverence to the water spouts in hopes of being granted protection from illness and a better life.
