KATHMANDU, Mar 22: Nima Adventure Trek and Expedition has successfully retrieved the body of Austrian climber Murkesh Ischet from the Lobuche East Peak. 43-year-old Ischet had been climbing the Lobuche mountain with Ramdung Trek and Expedition, when he went missing last December.

The body was airlifted on March 21 by Managing Director of Nima Adventure, Kanchha Sherpa, along with 4  Sherpa, who was in the team, has thanked the TAAN executive committee for commending the work and giving workers motivation.

Managing Director Kanchha Sherpa, has urged the government to be active in the mountaineering sector, and be more concerned with keeping track of mountaineers who lose their lives during expeditions. Despite charging royalties to mountaineers, there is lack of budget implementation in the mountaineering sector and no resources to retrieve bodies of mountaineers who lose their lives in the mountains.
