KATHMANDU, Mar 10: Buddha Air has increased its weekly flights in the Bhairahawa-Pokhara route. The airlines has started operating two flights per day in the route while before it was only one flight daily.
Buddha Air had started daily flights between Bhairahawa-Pokhara from September 15 to connect the two major tourist destinations. There had been an increasing demand for air transport between the two cities.
According to the officials, the flight is being added with increased domestic and international passengers travelling to visit Pokhara, Muktinath, Bhairahwa and Lumbini. Muktinath Temple and Lumbini are attracting more tourists, especially Indians. The flight is also increased in demand of local people of Pokhara and Bhairahawa.
Due to the difficulty and complexity of the highways, the airway has made people easy to travel due to which the air passengers have been increasing.
According to Buddha Air, the air ticket for domestic passengers is Nrs.4, 300 whereas for tourist is $98 which is Nrs. 9,800 for Bhairahawa- Pokhara route.
