Buddha Air new ATR aircraft landed at TIA

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Nepal's private airlines Buddha Air has added a new aircraft to its fleet.
The new plane, a 72-seater manufactured by French aircraft manufacturer ATR landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Tuesday afternoon said marketing director of Buddha Air Rupesh Joshi.
Buddha Air Instructor Pilot Captain Pramod Thapa brought the aircraft from Bangkok.
The new aircraft will start commercial flights from March 1.
This is the fourth aircraft of the ATR72 series in Buddha Air’s fleet. With this Buddha Air has nine aircraft in its fleet.
“We have brought another aircraft of the ATR72-500 series,” Rupesh Joshi, the company’s Marketing Director, told. Currently buddha air is making daily 40 flights from kathamandu to different cities.
“After completing procedural requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, we hope to start commercial flights from the new aircraft.”
Buddha air is more trust worthy and flight Maker Company in Nepal. According to the data of 2016 among the 11 lakh travellers 7 lakh were travelled from Buddha air.
