KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Most of the people traveling by plane have been vaccinated. Most of the passengers traveling by plane from one place to another within Nepal have been vaccinated against covid-19.

According to a survey conducted by Buddha Air on its passengers, 95 percent of the passengers have been vaccinated. A survey of 1895 passengers at the destination by Buddha Air found that 1793 passengers had been vaccinated.

The government has also decided that vaccination should be mandatory on domestic flights. Even if this decision is implemented, the flight will not be affected.

According to the Managing Director of Buddha Air, Birendra Bahadur Basnet, the flight will be safer as the survey of passengers found that most of them were vaccinated.

He said that the service will be continued as they are providing the service with utmost care.

"It simply came to our notice then. There was no information. It was not studied. We have stopped flying twice before. But not anymore. We also have statistics. Now we also have experience. We are operating the airline with utmost care, ”he said.

During the first lockdown, Buddha Air had even rehearsed a guideline against Corona. All its employees were provided with PPE, masks and training by adopting all safety measures as per the guidelines of WHO and Civil Aviation Authority. Similarly, fog machines and chemicals as per international standards are being used for infection-free sanitation, said Basnet. He said that cleanliness of the plane has been made mandatory before every flight.

"Various studies have confirmed that air travel is free of infection. Every three minutes, the old air is replaced by fresh air on the ATR aircrafts. The ATR company has confirmed that the air flow is transition-free, "said Basnet." Our flight is transition-free, you can fly here with confidence.
