KATHMANDU, Aug 16: Buddha Air will now be offering its services while keeping its aircraft at Pokhara. Buddha Air Market Director Rupesh Joshi informed that the airline will now be keeping one aircraft at Pokhara Airport each day which will be conducting flights to Kathmandu.
The arrangement comes with the new rule that airlines must keep at least one of their aircraft in an airport outside Kathmandu to ease parking and traffic congestion problems at Tribhuvan International Airport. Following this rule, Buddha Air will be starting Pokhara to Kathmandu flights on Sunday at 7 am.
