CAAN approves Salam Air for Kathmandu-Oman flights

KATHMANDU, Aug 08: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has given permission to the Muscat National Investment and Development Committee to conduct flights between Nepal and Oman. The arrangement allows direct flights between Nepal and Oman for the first time ever.
Spokesperson of the Tribhuvan International Airport Office, Premnath Thakur, said that the airport has also allocated slots for takeoffs and landings to the company. Salam Air, which is the airline belonging to Muscat National, will be starting flights from September 1.
