KATHMANDU, Sep 20: According to the new policy of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), There should be suitable hanger and facility in the operation and maintenance base of Airlines Company in Airport. The authority will be encouraging the airlines company by providing free land for establishing base outside kathmandu valley for 9 years of the establishment of hanger. The airlines lacking hanger service will be collaborating with other airlines.

The CAAN will be giving discounts on the landing of ships, parking and security fees for the airlines companies operating flights during night time. Also there will be discount on overtime ship operating fees and weather service fees.

This policy is brought by the CAAN in order to promote the airlines to operate outside kathmandu valley. This policy has stopped the new airlines companies to operate international flights from TIA and have promoted the domestic airlines to fly in remote areas and fly in night time.
