CCTV Camera stalled for Tiger Census

BUTWAL, July 26 : CCTV cameras are stalled in Shankar Nagar Community Forest in Tilottama Municipality to conduct census of the tigers.
District Forest Office in coordination with WWF research officials completed the installation of the cctv by Tuesday morning. Deputy Forest Officer Giri Prasad Gaire informed that a total of 50 CCTV cameras were installed in the area.
The CCTV not only will count the number of tigers in the area but also will help in making study over the route which is used by the tigers to walk; way they walk in search for prey and the cameras will remain till the end of this month.
The census has started in the Shankar Nagar Community Forest, Ram Nagar Community Forest. Karhiya Community Forest and other areas.
